MANILA, Philippines – A low pressure area was spotted some 940 kilometers east of southern Luzon or the Bicol region, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its latest bulletin Sunday.
Pagasa said the weather system will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in southern Luzon, Visayas and the eastern section of northern and Central Luzon.
It said light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest to south will prevail over western Luzon and coming from the southwest to west over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
