Acain-Seno pair takes lead of View Invt’l golf

THE tandem of Edgardo Illana Acain and Nilo Seno improved their first round performance to take the top spot in yesterday’s penultimate round of the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club’s (AVGCC) The View Invitational 2012.

The duo scored 82 yesterday for a total of 159 points and climbed from third to first place.

The pair of Vicente Tiu Go and Oscar Cornillo stayed at second spot with 158 points after scoring 81 points yesterday.

First day leaders Hospicio “Razi” Razon and Boy Alegre dropped to third place with 155 points after yesterday’s 74 points.

FEATURED STORIES

At fourth place were the second day’s second placer Ramontito Escano Garcia and Iggy Clavecilla who had a two-day total of 151 points.

Jufil Sato and partner Ferdinand Mondares stayed at fifth place, the same place they were at during their first round, with a total of 150 points.

Standings are bound to change with the remaining teams playing their second round today.

Awards to be determined after today’s final round are lowest gross and overall lowest net as well as the top 3 finishers in the class A, B and C and the Seniors’ division.
