Agents of the National Bureau of Investigation and US Department of Homeland Security have arrested a suspect in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, for distributing child sexual abuse and exploitation materials.
In a statement on Thursday, NBI Director Jaime Santiago said the case stemmed from information given by the US Homeland Security Investigation Office.

Both parties later confirmed the suspect’s illegal activities during an entrapment operation.
Three minors were also rescued, while the NBI seized three cell phones containing child sexual abuse and exploitation materials, including sex toys. —GILLIAN VILLANUEVA
