Sorsogon police: Over P400,000 illegal drugs seized in November
SANTA MAGDALENA, SORSOGON — The provincial police seized more than P400,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in different anti-drug operations last month.
Colonel Alex Daniel, Sorsogon police director, said their four operations in November yielded 61.445 grams of shabu valued at P417,894.
Four drug suspects were arrested in the said operations.
In October, the Sorsogon police reported that they confiscated 0.832 grams of shabu and 5.004 grams of marijuana but did not specify their value.
The Sorsogon police also arrested 10 most wanted persons and 39 other wanted persons from their 49 operations in the same period, Daniel said in a separate report.

Article continues after this advertisementMeanwhile, the police arrested 25 persons involved in illegal fishing and 10 involved in illegal logging.
Five loose firearms were also confiscated, while six were surrendered voluntarily to the police, according to the report.
