MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized over P1.4 million worth of illegal drugs and apprehended four suspects in an operation in Cagayan province early Tuesday morning.
PDEA Cagayan Valley operatives as well as the regional, provincial and city-level police’s drug enforcement units simultaneously implemented three separate warrants in an operation at a compound in Barangay Centro 10 in Tuguegarao City at 2 a.m. on Dec. 3.
Officers confiscated 32 heat-sealed plastic sachets said to contain shabu (crystal meth), weighing a total of 215 grams and valued at P1,462,000, from the four individuals apprehended.

The agency identified the suspects as Hadji Abdullah Panda and Hadja Ainna Panda in the first warrant. Nine sachets weighing a total of 100 grams worth P680,000 were recovered.
Meanwhile, Alimbasar Panda was named as the suspect in the second warrant. Twenty sachets also weighing a total of 100 grams worth P680,000 were seized.

Lastly, PDEA identified the third warrant’s suspect as Mohammad Iqbal Regaro. Three sachets weighing a total of 15 grams worth P102,000 were confiscated.
The warrants were issued by the Regional Trial Court in Tuguegarao City.
The suspects now await charges for violating the Dangerous Drugs Act.
