Pharmally exec lied about ties to Lin Weixiong, birth record shows – solon
MANILA, Philippines — A lawmaker called Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp. stakeholder Rose Nono Lin a “habitual liar” after she claimed during previous congressional hearings that she met Lin Weixiong or Allan Lin in 2009.
In a statement on Friday and during the hearing of the House of Representatives quad committee on Wednesday, Quezon City 5th District Patrick Michael Vargas claimed that Lin’s daughter posted her birth certificate on social media, showing that she was born in 2004.
On the daughter’s birth certificate, Rose Nono Lin still had her maiden name, but Lin Weixiong was identified as the child’s father.
“Rose Lin has been lying not just to the House of Representatives quad comm but also the Senate in 2021 during the Blue Ribbon inquiry on Pharmally [scandal],” Vargas, who presented copies of the birth certificate, said.
“Clearly, she would stick to meeting her husband in 2009; otherwise, she would be implicated in the drug cases linked to him in early 2000s,” Vargas claimed.
Lin has been accused of being the same Allan Lin who was the suspect in an anti-illegal drug operation in Cavite. However, former Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) chief Wilkins Villanueva repeatedly stated that there is a high likelihood that Allan Lin and Lin Weixiong are different individuals.

“It is disheartening to know that among the highest personalities in the syndicate matrix is a Filipino,” Vargas lamented. “We will not allow yet another Alice Guo to fester in our country,” he added.
Rose Nono Lin was invited to the quad committee hearing, but she asked to be excused after an urgent family matter.

Lin Wei Xiong is believed to be the financial manager of Pharmally, which was dragged into the spotlight in 2021 after it was tapped to provide COVID-19 pandemic supplies despite a small paid-up capital of P625,000.
The couple’s names also popped out during the quad committee hearing for allegedly being involved in Pogos and the illegal drug trade.
