PDEA seizes shabu worth P1.7M in Cavite, 3 suspects arrested
LUCENA CITY — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested on Thursday three suspected big-time pushers and seized P1.7 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) in General Trias City, Cavite.
In a report Friday, PDEA-Region 4A operatives, Region 4A police drug enforcement unit, and local cops arrested Usman Unaid 54; Aguil Asaral, 50; and Camille Roda Ismael, 41, in a buy-bust operation in an open parking lot of a shopping mall in Barangay Tejero around 8:50 p.m.
The suspects, all residents of Tanza town, were caught in alleged possession of 250 grams of suspected shabu.
The seized shabu is worth P1,700,000 as per the Dangerous Drugs Board valuation at P6,800 per gram.
The suspects are classified as “high-value” targets in the government campaign against illegal drugs.

The suspects were detained and will face a formal complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
