LIST: Power interruptions in Laguna, Bulacan from Nov. 22 to 24

MANILA, Philippines — Parts of Bulacan and Laguna will experience power interruption from November 22 to 24, the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said on Thursday.

In an advisory posted on its website, Meralco said the repairs in Laguna are due to preventive maintenance and testing works by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines along its Lumban-Caliraya transmission line and inside the Caliraya substation.

The following areas in Laguna will be affected by service interruptions:

November 23 to 24

Laguna (Liliw, Nagcarlan, Rizal, Magdalena, Majayjay, Sta. Cruz, and San Pablo) – between 11 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. Saturday; between noon and 1 p.m. Sunday

• Portion of Majayjay – Liliw Municipal Road from Meralco – Botocan substation to and including the whole towns of Liliw, Nagcarlan and Magdalena
• Bgys. Bukal, Coralao, Ibabang Banga, Ilayang Banga, Malinao, May-it, Munting Kawayan, Olla, Oobi, Pangil, Panglan, San Isidro, San Roque, Sta. Catalina, Suba, Talortor and Town Proper in Majayjay
• Bgys. San Antonio I and Sta. Maria Magdalena in San Pablo City;
• Bgys. Entablado and Tala in Rizal; Bgys. San Jose, Oogong, Malinao and Alipit in Sta. Cruz
• Portion of Pedro Guevarra Ave. from Meralco – Sta. Cruz substation to and including Pedro Guevarra National High School and Sta. Cruz Public Market
• Carmenchu Residences, Villa Silangan Subd. and San Francisco Subd. in Bgys. Pagsawitan, San Pablo Sur, Santo Angel Sur, Calios, Santo Angel Central, Santo Angel Norte, Umboy, Santisima Cruz and Town Proper in Sta. Cruz
• Portion of Quezon Ave. and Calumpang – Sta. Cruz Road from Pedro Guevarra Ave. to Jehovah’s Witness including Monserrat Subd., Jamaica Subd., Ajdramm Subd., Bayside Subd., Leonora Subd., Villa Josefina Subd., Villa Rosa Subd., Lynville Homes 8 Subd. Phases I & II, Minorka Ville Subd., Remedios Country Homes, Laguna Heights, Lynville Subd., Residenza de Sta. Cruz Subd., Remedios Country Homes II, Sitio 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 and Sitio Acacia in Bgys. Santo Angel Sur, Patimbao, Santo Angel Central, Calios, Bagong Bayan (Bagumbayan), Bubukal, Labuin, San Juan, Malinao, San Jose, Oogong and Town Proper in Sta. Cruz

Areas in Bulacan will also experience power interruptions due to the relocation and reconstruction of facilities, as well as pole replacements in Guiguinto, Bulacan.

Below are the areas that will be affected by the service interruptions, according to Meralco:

• Bulacan (Guiguinto and Plaridel) – between 9 a.m. and noon
• Portion of Aquino St. from Rizal St. in Bgy. Cutcut, Guiguinto to and including Sitio Bulihan Bukid and Sitio Bulihan Dulo in Bgy. Bulihan, Plaridel
