Quiboloy hospitalized due to ‘irregular heartbeat’ – PNP
MANILA, Philippines — Detained pastor Apollo Quiboloy has been rushed to the hospital due to “irregular heartbeat,” the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Monday.
PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo said Quiboloy was rushed to the Philippine Heart Center.
Fajardo said Quiboloy had chest discomfort last Nov. 7, which prompted PNP General Hospital to conduct a medical examination on the embattled pastor.
“The medical examination conducted by the health service revealed that he has an irregular heartbeat that may be considered as life-threatening,” Fajardo said in a press conference in Camp Crame.

Quiboloy and four co-accused were arrested last Sept. 8 at the KJC compound in Davao City.
He has been detained at the PNP Custodial Center in Quezon City while five other suspects, including one of his co-accused arrested in July, have been detained in Pasay City Jail.
A Davao court ordered their arrest in April over charges of violating the Anti-Child Abuse Law, including sexual abuse of minors and maltreatment.
Despite this, Quiboloy is still eyeing a Senate seat in the upcoming midterm elections.
