MANILA, Philippines — Detained pastor Apollo Quiboloy has been rushed to the hospital due to “irregular heartbeat,” the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Monday.

PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo said Quiboloy was rushed to the Philippine Heart Center.

Fajardo said Quiboloy had chest discomfort last Nov. 7, which prompted PNP General Hospital to conduct a medical examination on the embattled pastor.
