The state weather bureau is monitoring a low pressure area outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility as Typhoon Marce exits the region.

Palace issues EO on nationwide Pogo ban

Malacañang released an Executive Order (EO) on the immediate ban on all  hilippine offshore gaming operators (Pogo) or Internet Gaming Licensees (IGLs) and offshore gaming operations in the country.

EO No. 74 was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin last November 5 and released to the media on Friday.

Marcos signs laws charting PH maritime zones, sea lanes

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Friday signed the Philippine Maritime Zones Act and the Philippine Archipelagic Sea Lanes Act.

To be known as Republic Act (RA) No. 12064, the Philippine Maritime Zones Act aims to declare the country’s maritime zones in accordance with the standards set by the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).

New Philippine map including West Philippine Sea out soon – Namria

A new Philippine map that includes the West Philippine Sea (WPS) as part of its jurisdiction will be released soon, the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (Namria) said.

Namria Administrator Peter Tiangco revealed Friday that “[we] already have the maps prepared” and that they were just awaiting the issuance of the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of the Philippine Maritime Zones Act “in order for us to modify or revise the maps that we have prepared accordingly until its final publication.”

The money laundering complaints filed against Alice Guo (real name: Guo Hua Ping), Shiela Guo (real name: Zhang Mier), and Cassandra Li Ong before the Department of Justice (DOJ) are now up for resolution.
