President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said that EBET or the Republic Act No. 12063 “directly addresses the issues [of] the lack of formal training and skill mismatches, ensuring that every Filipino can contribute and benefit from our nation’s growth.”
“By involving industries directly in skills development, the law ensures learners are job-ready, acquiring exact skills that the industry needs,” Raagas added.
Marcos also noted that this law would foster and improve enterprise-based training modalities under the framework.
