MANILA, Philippines — PBA party-list Rep. Margarita “Migs” Nograles’ hair follicle drug test yielded negative results, the lawmaker herself revealed on Wednesday.

Nograles posted a copy of her drug test results online a day after Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo Duterte released the result of his drug test.

“Results are in! Bukod po sa partial results ng US Election, andito na rin yung official results natin. Negative po tayo sa hair follicle drug test na ginawa natin last October 23,” Nograles wrote in a Facebook post.

(Results are in! In addition to the partial results of the US Election, our official results are here. I tested negative in the hair follicle drug test we did last October 23.)

Aside from the drug test, Nograles also posted a photo of a pregnancy test with a negative result.

“But wait, there’s more results. Para sa mga marites at marisol diyan, negative rin tayo sa isa pang test result! O diba?” she said.

(For the gossipers out there, we are also negative in another test result!)

“Para triple combo, dagdagan pa natin para mas masaya, samahan na rin natin ng IQ test para makumpleto na lahat ng tests! Ingat palagi!” the lawmaker wrote in Bisaya.

(For a triple combo, let’s add more for fun, let’s also add an IQ exam to complete the tests! Always be careful!)

Earlier, Duterte and Nograles challenged each other to take the test for illegal drugs. Nograles will go against Paolo Duterte in the race for Davao City 1st District representative in the May 2025 polls.

The two issued the dare after Duterte’s sister, Vice President Sara Duterte, urged all candidates in next year’s midterm elections to take the drug test.

The Nograleses and the Dutertes have long been rivals in the Davao local political scene.
