LUCENA CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives of Rizal police arrested two drug traffickers and seized more than P163,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) and an illegal firearm in separate operations on Saturday, November 2.
The Region 4A police, in a report Sunday, November 3, said a team of operatives in Rodriguez town collared “Ronnie” around 9:40 p.m. in a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) San Isidro.
Confiscated from the suspect were five plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 15 grams worth about P102,000 as per the valuation of the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB).
Also confiscated was an undocumented caliber .38 gun loaded with three bullets.
In Antipolo City, police officers arrested “Tol” in a sting operation in Barangay Inarawan around 8:30 p.m.
The operation yielded five sachets of meth weighing 9 grams with a DDB value of P61,200.
Police tagged both suspects as identified street-level drug pushers in their localities.
The suspects were detained and are facing charges for allegedly violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Ronnie will also face another case of illegal possession of a firearm.
