MANILA, Philippines — In observance of All Saints’ Day, also known as Undas, the Makati Public Safety Department will implement road closures.
The Makati City local government confirmed this in a traffic advisory on Wednesday and said that the road closures and traffic rerouting will take effect from October 31 to November 2, 2024.

Motorists are advised to take alternate routes. The affected roads are as follows:
Closed roads
- Kalayaan Avenue – The road section from Zapote Street to N. Garcia Street shall be closed to traffic and shall be exclusive for pedestrian use
- South Avenue – The road section from J.P. Ave. to Metropolitan Ave. shall be closed to traffic and shall be exclusive for pedestrian use
- Vito Cruz Ave. Ext. – The road portion from South Ave. to Zapote Street shall be closed to traffic and shall be exclusive for pedestrian use
- Pililla Street—The road portion from Kalayaan Avenue to Baler Street shall be closed to traffic and shall be exclusive for pedestrian use and as an access road to designated parking areas only.
Reroute traffic roads
- J.P. Rizal Avenue – From Makati Ave. to Pasong Tirad Street, shall be temporarily converted into Two-Way traffic flow
- Zapote Street – From J.P. Rizal Ave. to Metropolitan Ave. shall be temporarily converted into Two-Way traffic flow
- Vito Cruz Ave. Ext. – From Pasong Tamo Ave. to Zapote Street shall be converted to One-Way eastward or towards the South Cemetery direction. One side of this road portion of Vito Cruz Ext. shall be designated as a parking area. (North side curb).
- Metropolitan Avenue – From South Ave. to N. Garcia Street shall be converted into One-Way traffic flow direction. One side of Metropolitan Ave. shall be designated as a parking area.

In a separate advisory, the Makati City government likewise announced the suspension of the number coding scheme in the city on October 31 beginning at noon in line with the suspension of work in government offices under Memorandum Circular No. 67, s. 2024.
