MANILA, Philippines — Several areas in Metro Manila and Cavite will experience water interruptions from November 1 to 2 due to the temporary shutdown of the Putatan and Poblacion Water Treatment Plants in Muntinlupa City, the Maynilad Water Services announced.
In an advisory, Maynilad said the shutdown was due to repair and maintenance activities starting at 12:01 a.m. on November 1 and ending at 12:01 p.m. on November 2.
“These activities are necessary to ensure the continued reliability of our water services,” said Maynilad.

“As a result, customers in portions of Bacoor, Imus, Parañaque, Pasay, Muntinlupa, and Las Piñas City will experience a temporary water service interruption within a specific number of hours during the activity,” it added.
Below is the list of affected barangays:
- Bacoor City
- Bacoor Molino III, Molino IV, Queens Row Central, Queens Row East, Queens Row West, and San Nicholas III
- Imus City
- Pasong Buaya I and Pasong Buaya II
- Parañaque City
- Don Bosco, Marcelo Green, Merville, Moonwalk, San Antonio, San Isidro
- BF Homes, San Antonio, and San Martin de Porres
- Pasay City
- Brgys. 181 to 185 and 201
- Las Piñas City
- Almanza Uno and BF International/CAA
- Muntinlupa City
- Sucat

Maynilad said mobile water tankers will be on standby and ready to deliver potable water as needed. It has also strategically installed stationary water tanks to facilitate supply accessibility.
