MANILA, Philippines — The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on Sunday issued an advisory informing the public that a presidential proclamation circulating online, which claims to suspend work from October 28 to 31, 2024, is “fake news.”

“The Presidential Communications Office and the Office of the Executive Secretary have not issued work and class suspensions for October 28–31, 2024,” the PCO’s post read.

The PCO further advised the public to follow announcements only from official government pages.
