“The entire province of Cavite has been placed under a state of calamity today, October 24, 2024 due to the effects of Typhoon Kristine,” said provincial governor Athena Tolentino in a Facebook post on Thursday.

Reelectionist Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa on Thursday said he has no regrets over the deadly war on drugs he implemented as Philippine National Police chief, adding that he would do it again.
