LEGAZPI CITY — Authorities resumed search operations on Friday (Oct. 25) for a 43-year-old woman who was swept away by floodwaters during the onslaught of Tropical Storm Kristine.

According to Chona Miña, village chairman of Bonga, the woman was crossing a bridge on Tuesday night when she was carried off by the overflowing waters.

Search teams, including K-9 units, have been scouring river channels in nearby villages since Thursday in an effort to locate the missing woman.
