MANILA, Philippines – Classes on Thursday, October 24 in parts of Luzon and the Visauas have been suspended due to the effects of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami).
Suspended classes in Luzon

Storm track, forecast
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Kristine developed into a severe tropical storm and is expected to make landfall in Isabela on Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.
In its 5 p.m. weather bulletin, Pagasa said Kristine was located some 175 kilometers east of Echague, Isabela, moving northwestward at 20 kilometers per hour (km/h).
