Marcos names Dante Ang II as new CFO chair

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. appointed Dante Francis Ang II as chairperson of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO).

Based on a letter dated October 16, 2024, and signed by Marcos, Ang would replace Romulo Arugay as CFO head.

Ang is the chairman and chief executive officer of The Manila Times and a recipient of Most Outstanding Publication Chief Executive Officer of the Year in 2024.

He was also chairperson of the National Book Development Board and an acting member of the Board of Directors of Clark International Airport Corporation.
