ANGELES CITY — An alleged drug den maintainer and his two companions, including a teen, were arrested in a buy-bust operation that also resulted in the seizure of P102,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Magalang, Pampanga on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 16.
In a statement, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3 said the buy-bust and raid of a makeshift drug den was conducted in Santa Lucia village at 1:15 p.m.
It identified the alleged drug demaintainer as Ivan, alias 44-year-old “Lupin” and his companions as Ryan, 34, and Ronnel, 18. All are residents of the village.
“Aside from the suspected shabu, authorities also recovered assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked money used in the sting operation,” the PDEA Region 3 said.
It said the operation was undertaken with the police.
“Apprehended suspects will be temporarily detained at PDEA RO III Jail Facility, pending the filing of charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002,” it added. INQ
