MANILA, Philippines — Fair, warm weather is seen nationwide on Wednesday due to the easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported.
According to state weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio, the easterlies affecting Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas will bring warm weather to the country.
(The easterlies continue to affect Luzon and the eastern section of the Visayas. So today, we can expect warm weather and the sun will be visible.)
Easterlies are warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.
However, the state weather specialist noted there are still chances of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms nationwide.
(Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or sudden downpours due to thunderstorms will be experienced in Luzon, as well as in Visayas and Mindanao.)
Pagasa added these isolated rain showers may be expected in the afternoon or evening.
Meanwhile, no low-pressure area is being monitored by the state weather bureau within the Philippine area of responsibility.
Pagasa has not raised a gale warning over any of the country’s seaboards on Wednesday.
