This adds four new courts to the existing RTC Branches 203 to 207, 256, 276.

The President also signed RA 12026, which forms four new trial courts in Calauag town in Quezon province.

With the new courts, Calauag town will now have a total of five RTC branches.

Both laws, which Marcos signed on Oct. 9, will take effect 15 days after their publication. With both laws, the creation of additional trial courts amends Batas Pambansa 129, or the Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980. —Melvin Gascon
