16 hurt in jeepney-truck collision in Sorsogon town
LEGAZPI CITY — Sixteen people were injured when a passenger utility jeepney (PUJ) and truck collided on Sunday, October 13, in Castilla town in Sorsogon province.
Brigadier General Andre Perez Dizon, Bicol police chief, reported that the PUJ driven by Pedro Desquitado, 56, occupied the lane of the mixer truck driven by Edgar Enguera, 53, which led to the collision in Barangay (village) San Vicente around 10:30 a.m.

Desquitado and 15 passengers of the PUJ sustained injuries and were taken to Castilla District Hospital and Sorsogon Provincial Hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
