MANILA, Philippines — Northern Luzon can expect cloudy skies and light rains on Friday, Oct. 11, due northeasterly winds, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
The state weather bureau said on Thursday afternoon it anticipated partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon regions.
“The northeasterly wind flow is still affecting Northern Luzon, so we can expect they will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains,” Pagasa weather forecaster Chenel Dominguez said in Filipino.
Meanwhile, Pagasa expects hot and humid weather for Metro Manila and the rest of the country on Friday, with high chances of rain in the afternoon and evening due to localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa also said no gale warnings for the country’s seaboards and it is not monitoring any low-pressure area in the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
