MANILA, Philippines—Militant groups were spotted along Legarda Street near Mendiola in Manila Wednesday afternoon, the Manila Police District said.

Its District Tactical Operations Center said the roughly 300 protesters were seen marching towards Mendiola Bridge around 3 p.m.

They said these protesters traveled all the way from Silverio Compound in Barangay (village) San Isidro, Parañaque City.

Leonor sustained a gunshot wound to his temple but authorities have yet to determine who fired the gun.
