MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga, Philippines — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Central Luzon arrested four men inside a makeshift drug den in Barangay Santa Cruz in Porac town, this province, on Sunday, Oct. 6.

In a statement, the PDEA Central Luzon office said nine small plastic sachets of crystal meth, locally known as shabu, were confiscated from the suspects.

It identified the arrested persons as Jerome, 41; Francis, 50; Ronaldo, 29; and Hermer, 48. All four are residents of Santa Cruz, Porac.

According to the PDEA Central Luzon, before raiding the makeshift drug den, an undercover agent managed to buy a sachet of shabu from the suspects using marked money.

The raid, which was conducted at 3:15 p.m., also resulted in the confiscation of drug paraphernalia and the recovery of the marked money.

The operation was carried out in coordination with the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Pampanga Police Provincial Office.

Charges for violation the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being readied for filing in court.
