MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday renewed his promise to boost the country’s healthcare system.
In his speech during the “Libreng Laboratoryo, Konsulta, at Gamot Para sa Lahat (LAB For ALL)” event in Pasig City, Marcos said the government will continue to provide accessible healthcare services, especially to those living in remote areas.

“Sa pangunguna ng Department of Health, patuloy po tayo sa pagpapatupad ng mga proyekto upang magkaroon ng rural health unit, doktor, nurse, ambulansya, mobile health clinic, at ibang mga kagamitan ang lahat ng lalawigan sa bansa, lalo na ‘yung ating napag-usapan nga ‘yung mga geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas,” he said.
(With the Department of Health’s leadership, we continue to implement projects so that all provinces in the country, especially the geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas, may have rural health units, doctors, nurses, ambulances, mobile health clinics, and other equipment)

Over 1,500 residents of Pasig City received medical services during the event.
Three LAB For ALL mobile clinics with various laboratory equipment will also be given to the local governments of Pasig City, Tacloban City, and Sta. Catalina in Ilocos Sur.
Since its inception in May 2023, the LAB for ALL has already visited and turned over mobile clinics in 35 locations nationwide.

“Sinisiguro namin na marami pang mga komunidad sa bawat siyudad at probinsya ang mabibista ng LAB for ALL. Kung saan mayroong Pilipinong nangangailangan, pagsusumikapan natin na ang inyong pamahalaan ay maabutan ng serbisyong ito,” Marcos said.
