MANILA, Philippines — Barangay Health and Wellness party list Rep. Angelica Natasha Co called to task and sought sanctions against Agri party list Rep. Wilbert Lee for unparliamentary behavior when he grabbed a microphone from Senior Deputy Minority Leader Paul Daza and “verbally assaulting” the committee on appropriations during plenary debates on Sept. 23.

Co said Lee of grandstanding at the expense of his colleagues at the chamber to boost his aspiration to become senator and asked the House committees on ethics and on rules as well as the minority bloc to punish Lee, including canceling his foreign travel authority.
