Tricycle driver dies after collision with bus in Quezon

LUCENA CITY — A 56-year-old tricycle driver died in a road accident early Tuesday, Oct. 1, in Pagbilao town in Quezon province.

The Quezon police reported that a Bicol-bound passenger bus, driven by “Ricky,” hit an oncoming tricycle driven by Nataño Lobusta at 12:05 a.m. in an ascending curve section of the national highway in Barangay Pinagbayanan.

The tricycle driver died while being taken to a hospital in this city.

The police said the concerned parties were open to amicable settlement.
