Zamboanga Sibugay bus terminal bombed, no one injured

MANILA, Philippines—An explosion occurred near a bus terminal in Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay province early Wednesday morning, an army spokesman said.
Captain Albert Caber, spokesman of the Army’s first infantry division, said in a text message that no one was hurt in the explosion that occurred around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Police who responded to the incident recovered a safety lever of a hand grenade near the blast site, Caber said.
An explosive ordnance disposal team, composed of approximately 34 members, has been dispatched since 5:30 a.m. to conduct post blast investigations, Caber said.
