Various LGUs suspend classes for Sept 30 due to typhoon Julian

Class suspensions were imposed in several areas in Luzon for Monday (September 30) due to bad weather brought by typhoon Julian (international name: Krathon).

MANILA, Philippines — Class suspensions were imposed in several areas in Luzon for Monday (September 30) due to bad weather brought by typhoon Julian (international name: Krathon).

Below is the list of areas that suspended classes at all levels in both public and private:

Julian was last spotted 275 kilometers (km) east of Calayan, Cagayan, packing maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 135 kph, according to the state weather bureau’s 2 p.m. bulletin.
