Alice Guo pleads not guilty to qualified human trafficking charge
Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo (Guo Hua Ping) pleaded not guilty to the qualified human trafficking charge during her arraignment at Pasig City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 167 on Friday, according to her legal counsel Nicole Jamilla.
“We pleaded not guilty; ma’am pleaded not guilty to the crime alleged,” Jamilla said in an ambush interview at the Pasig City RTC.
Public school teachers’ vacation leave credits raised from 15 to 30 days
The annual vacation service credits (VSCs) for public school teachers have been increased from 15 to 30, the Department of Education (DepEd) announced.
This development is based on DepEd Order No. 13, s. 2024 or the Revised Guidelines on the Grant of VSCs for Teachers signed by Education Secretary Sonny Angara last September 18, the agency said in a statement on Friday.
