The DBM noted that P36.450 billion has been disbursed to all 308 departments/agencies as of Wednesday, September 25.
“I am happy to announce that the funds allocated for the implementation of the Salary Standardization Law VI (SSL VI) have been fully released to concerned agencies by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM),” DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman said in a statement.

The pay increase for government employees is mandated under Executive Order No. 64 signed by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. on August 2.
The salary increase will be implemented in four tranches: the first tranche on January 1, 2024 (retroactive); the second tranche on January 1, 2025; the third tranche on January 1, 2026; and the last on January 1, 2027.
Furthermore, the budget secretary urged the heads of departments/agencies to “hastily enforce the salary adjustments by taking necessary steps forward, including the process and issuance of the Notices of Salary Adjustment, so that our government workers may start receiving their differential and salary increases.”
The department also created the Salary Standardization Law VI dashboard that reflects the latest data on budget releases. It can be accessed through DBM’s official website: https://www.dbm.gov.ph/index.php
