Lakas-CMD membership in House now at 109 as 3 more solons join
MANILA, Philippines — It seems that Lakas-CMD’s numbers at the House of Representatives just keeps on growing as three more members joined the political party of Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez.
In a statement on Tuesday, Romualdez confirmed that Zamboanga del Sur 2nd District Rep. Jeyzel Victoria Yu, Iloilo 5th District Rep. Raul Tupas, and Bukidnon 1st District Rep. Manuel Alba took their oath as Lakas-CMD members.
This means 109 House lawmakers are part of Lakas-CMD — or over one-third of the legislative chamber.
“Their affiliation widens support in Congress and the grassroots for President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ R. Marcos Jr. and his Agenda for Prosperity and Bagong Pilipinas programs,” Romualdez said.
“I am sure that our new members share our and the President’s aspirations for a better life for our people and a more progressive Philippines,” he said.

“In 2025, we are not just fielding candidates – we are shaping the future. Lakas-CMD is proud to join the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, a multi-party administration alliance that will bring forth a formidable 12-man senatorial slate, as well as candidates for provincial, congressional, and city and municipal positions,” he said.
“Together, we will represent a broad and inclusive movement that reflects the aspirations of every Filipino across our archipelago,” he added.
