Dead ‘Commando’ man stuffed in drum
The body of a heavily tattooed man, believed to be a victim of summary execution, was found early Tuesday morning stuffed in a plastic drum near the former Smokey Mountain dump in Tondo, Manila.
The corpse was the second to be found in the area since last month bearing the markings of a Commando Gang member. The man bore several stab wounds and strangulation marks, his face wrapped in packaging tape.
Police Officer 2 Bernard Cayabyab of the Manila Police District described the victim, who was found on Road 10, to be between 40 and 45 years old, 5’3” in height, and wearing blue pants.
Tattooed on the body were the names “Nathaniel,” “Crustal,” and a Commando Gang mark on his back. It was brought to Cruz funeral parlor in Sta. Cruz for autopsy and safekeeping. Jeannette I. Andrade and Julliane de Jesus
