Comelec refutes false Facebook post on election officials reshuffle

MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Tuesday slammed a Facebook post claiming that election officials would be reshuffled in different regions across the country.

“WALANG KATOTOHANAN ang kumakalat na post ng isang Facebook user na nagngangalang ‘Comelec Bske Twentytwentythree’ ukol sa pagkakaroon ng reshuffling ng mga COMELEC Regional Election Directors, Provincial Election Supervisors, at City/Municipal Election Officer,” Comelec said in a Facebook post.

(The post from a Facebook user named “Comelec Bske Twentytwentythree” about the reshuffling of COMELEC Regional Election Directors, Provincial Election Supervisors, and City/Municipal Election Officers is not true.)
