LUCENA CITY — Six suspected drug pushers were arrested on Tuesday and Wednesday (Sept. 17 and 18) in buy-bust operations in Rizal and Laguna provinces and seized more than P510,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) and an illegal firearm, the police said.
The Region 4A police reported on Wednesday that local drug enforcers in Taytay, Rizal captured “Arthur,” “Ritchina,” and “Billy” at 2:50 a.m. Wednesday in Barangay Sta. Ana after they sold P500 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer.
The suspects yielded 10 plastic sachets with shabu weighing 50 grams worth P340,000.
Also confiscated from Billy was an undocumented caliber .45 pistol loaded with seven bullets.
In Cabuyao City, Laguna, police anti-illegal drugs operatives arrested “Samuel,” “Niraj,” and “Misiel” in a sting operation in Barangay Banlic around 9:02 p.m. on Tuesday.
The cops caught the suspects with four sachets of meth weighing 25 grams worth P170,000.
All suspects are under police custody and will face a formal complaint for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Billy will also face another case for illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
