Pagasa weather specialist Ana Clauren-Jorda said they were also watching another LPA 2,145 km east of eastern Visayas.

The LPA off Luzon is expected to enhance the southwest monsoon, called “habagat” in the vernacular, and bring cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in the afternoons, Clauren-Jorda said. —Gillian Villanueva
