MANILA, Philippines — More individuals reported to the Philippine National Police (PNP) that Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) leader Apollo Quiboloy abused them, its spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo said on Wednesday.
Fajardo said some of the alleged victims are minors and they approached the cops while the PNP was trying to serve the arrest warrant to Quiboloy in the KJC compound in Davao City.
“During the 16-day police operation, there were individuals who approached the PNP, saying they were also victimized by Pastor Quiboloy,” Fajardo said in an ambush interview in front of the PNP custodial center.

Fajardo did not reveal if the cases of abuse are sexual in nature.
The cases, she said, are still in the documentation process.
Thousands of policemen entered the KJC compound on August 24 to serve the arrest warrants against Quiboloy and his subordinates Jackielyn Roy, Ingrid Canada, Cresente Canada, and Sylvia Cemanes. The operation ended on Sept. 8 after the suspects surrendered.
They have been detained at the PNP custodial center since Sunday shortly after their arrest.

Quiboloy and the co-accused are facing child abuse cases before the Davao City court. One of them, Paulene Canada, has been in custody of authorities since July.
Quiboloy also has standing arrest warrants for human trafficking issued by the Pasig City court.
