Apollo Quibolo and four of his subordinates were ordered transferred to the New Quezon City Jail.
In an order dated September 9, Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 106 directed to “transfer and commit” Quiboloy and his co-accused Cresente Canada, to the New Quezon City Jail in Payatas Road, Bagong Silangan, and his other co-accused, Jackielyn Roy, Ingrid Canada, and Sylvia Camanes to the Quezon City Jail-Female dormitory in Camp Karingal.
Quiboloy’s mugshot blurred in accordance with CHR directive – PNP
The mugshot of detained televangelist and Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) founder Apollo Quiboloy was blurred in line with the Commission on Human Rights’ directive to protect a suspect’s dignity, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).
PNP Spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo also noted that this is not the first time a suspect’s mugshot was blurred.
VP Sara skips House hearing on 2025 OVP budget, sends letter instead
Vice President Sara Duterte did not show up at the House of Representatives hearing on the Office of the Vice President’s (OVP) proposed 2025 budget, and instead sent a letter to Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez and Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Elizaldy Co stating that they have submitted all necessary documents.
In the letter, dated September 10, Duterte said the OVP had already submitted documents to the House committee on appropriations, which is discussing her office’s budget.
