MANILA, Philippines — Captured religious leader and alleged rapist Apollo Quiboloy thanked his supporters and expressed readiness to see them all “soon.”

In a statement posted by the Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) on Tuesday, Quiboloy extended his “heartfelt gratitude” to “everyone who supported the Kingdom of Jesus Christ worldwide.”

“To the Kingdom community, Full-Time Miracle Workers, and Kingdom Miracle Members: your unwavering commitment and resilience in safeguarding the Kingdom have not gone unnoticed,” added Quiboloy, who was captured in Davao City on Sunday, September 8, along with a few of his subordinates who were subjects of warrants of arrest for child abuse and human trafficking.

“The Almighty Father has witnessed your enduring obedience to the Word of God even amidst intense pressure,” he also said.
