LIST: Class suspensions on Thursday, September 5
MANILA, Philippines — Classes are suspended in several parts of the country on Thursday, September 5 due to the inclement weather brought by Typhoon Yagi (formerly known as Enteng).
The areas that suspended classes on Thursday, September 5 are:

- Bataan – all levels, public and private
- Bacolor, Pampanga – face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private (alternative mode of learning allowed)
- Bocaue, Bulacan – all levels, public and private
- Botolan, Zambales – all levels, public and private
- Cavite – all levels public and private
- Calumpit, Bulacan – face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private (alternative mode of learning allowed)
- Candelaria, Zambales – face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private (alternative mode of learning allowed)
- Capas, Tarlac – face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private (alternative mode of learning allowed)
- La Paz, Tarlac – all levels, public and private
- Lian, Batangas – face-to-face classes, all levels, public and private (alternative mode of learning allowed)
- Lingayen, Pangasinan – all levels, public and private
- Mabalacat, Pampanga – all levels, public and private
- Marikina – all levels, public and private
- Marilao, Bulacan – all levels, public and private
- Moncada, Tarlac – all levels, public and private
- Nasugbu, Batangas – all levels, public and private distance

Enteng intensified into a typhoon category on Wednesday afternoon after exiting the Philippine area of responsibility on Wednesday morning.

It will continue to affect Northern Luzon while the southwest monsoon, or habagat, will persist in Central and Southern Luzon.
