INC ‘lobbying’ doesn’t worry prosecution

MANILA, Philippines – Alleged “lobbying” by religious group Iglesia ni Cristo do not worry the prosecution team, one of its spokesmen said on Tuesday.

Deputy speaker Lorenzo “Erin” Tañada III told reporters during a briefing that they believed the INC would not want to “tarnish” their reputation for “influencing the decision.”

“I don’t think the report is true.”
