MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Policemen in this city on Tuesday allegedly seized some P408,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) from a 53-year-old woman tagged as a “high-value individual” in the government campaign against illegal drugs.
The Pampanga police, who identified the suspect only as alias “Aileen,” said the latter was apprehended at Northville 16 settlement in Atlu Bola village around 9:26 p.m. after she allegedly sold shabu to an undercover police officer.
Allegedly confiscated from the suspect were some 60 grams of shabu and the marked peso bill used in the buy-bust operation.
“Charges for violating Sections 5 and 11, Article 2 of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the suspect,” the provincial police said in a statement. INQ
