Over P100,000 worth shabu seized in Sorsogon sting

SORSOGON CITY — Authorities seized more than P100,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Bulan town in Sorsogon province, Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Lieutenant Colonel Virgil Bibat, chief of police of Bulan municipal station, said in a report that 17 grams of shabu, worth around P115,600, were confiscated from four suspects in a buy-bust operation at around 9:30
p.m. in an alleged drug den at Barangay Zone 8.

Bibat said, in a report Wednesday that the arrested drug offenders are now under the custody of Bulan police.

They will face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
