MANILA, Philippines — The Senate has approved on third and final reading four resolutions concurring with the ratification of four treaties as provided under the 1987 Constitution.
During the Senate’s Tuesday plenary session, senators approved the following measures:
- Proposed Senate Resolution No, 1145 concurring in the ratification of International Labor Organization Convention No. 81 or the Convention Concerning Labor Inspection in Industry and Commerce (ILO C81)
- Proposed Senate Resolution No. 1146 concurring in the ratification of the treaty between the government of the Philippines and the government of Canada on the transfer of sentenced persons and on cooperation in the enforcement of penal sentences
- Proposed Senate Resolution No. 1147 concurring in the ratification of the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters
- Proposed Senate Resolution No. 1148 concurring in the ratification of the “Host Country Agreement” between the governments of the Philippines and the International Fund For Agricultural Development on the Establishment of IFAD’s country office
All four resolutions were unanimously approved by the chamber, receiving votes of 20 affirmative, zero negative, and zero abstentions.
