1,995 pass CPA board

MANILA, Philippines—A total of 1,995 out of 5,315 passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi this May, the Professional Regulation Commission announced Tuesday.

The results were released in one working day after the last day of examination, the PRC said.

The members of the Board of Accountancy are Atty. Eugene T. Mateo, chairman;  Luis A. Cañete, Dr. Rufo R. Mendoza, (inhibited) and Jose S. Tayag, Jr., members.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony will be announced later, said PRC.
