LEGAZPI CITY — Continuous rains brought by Tropical Storm Enteng since Sunday caused a landslide in Pio Duran town in Albay province.
The local government said the landslide that covered the road occurred on Sunday night in Barangay Lawinon, the main access of the said town to Donsol, Sorsogon.
The road was rendered impassable on Sunday night but was cleared around 8 a.m. on Monday.

The rainfall warning reached orange level in Sorsogon, Albay, Camarines Sur, and the towns of Claveria and San Pascual in Masbate province on Sunday night, which was expected to trigger flooding according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) Southern Luzon.
Pagasa lifted the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) in the province on Monday afternoon.
Cedric Daep, head of the Albay Public Safety and Emergency Management Office, said most of the reported flood incidents were in the third district areas.
They started the rapid assessment in infrastructure and agriculture to determine the necessary interventions and support. INQ
