TD Enteng now a Tropical Storm; heavy rains expected in Luzon

The state weather bureau's 11 p.m. Tropical Cyclone Bulletin #5  reported that Tropical Storm Enteng will bring heavy rainfall in the several parts of Luzon

MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Depression Enteng intensifies into a Tropical Storm as its center nears the coastal waters of Bagamanoc, Catanduanes, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

The state weather bureau’s 11 p.m. Tropical Cyclone Bulletin #5  reported that Tropical Storm Enteng will bring heavy rainfall in the following areas:

An Orange Warning level is now raised in Quezon where flooding is classified by Pagasa as threatening. While a Yellow Warning level is now up in Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Metro Manila and Cavite where flood-prone areas will be most affected.
The weather disturbance will also bring light to moderate rains over Tarlac, Pampanga and Zambales within the next 3 hours. Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains will affect Bulacan, Nueva Ecija and Bataan and may persist within 3 hours.
Pagasa advised the public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned to monitor the weather condition and watch for the next warning to be issued at 2 a.m. today.
